Teacher/Instructor of Middle and High School Mathematics as well as college level subjects including statistics and digital logic.

About the lesson

I encourage my students to see that there are many approaches to success in mathematics. My students and I walk through concepts and problems that help to bring clarity to each concept covered.

I am currently employed as a certified public school teacher of mathematics and hold degrees in engineering and business.

With students, I discuss their concerns and apprehension to a math concept at length to understand each student’s thought processes.

Then I assist each student in working through math problems on their own through direct instruction as well as games or simulations.

My approach is to work as a coach, mentor, and guide in each session, toward the goal of the student becoming self-sufficient in the area of mathematics being covered.

I have helped students to improve skills-building, and after a few sessions in a month, students have experienced significant progress with less anxiety and greater confidence in math.

I focus primarily on helping students in math for grades 6-12 as well as college level mathematics.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!

About Paul

I have over 30 years of technical experience working in telecommunications, industrial engineering design, software development, personnel management, and teaching at the elementary school, middle/intermediate school, high school, college and corporate level.

I hold degrees in Business Administration and Electronic Engineering and have constantly sought ways to expand my education and skills throughout my career.

One of my greatest strengths is to take the complex and make it less intimidating to those who might find a subject matter difficult. I work well with children and adults. I also enjoy a good challenge.
