About Peter
I have taught Middle School, Secondary and Collegiate Composition classes for thirty years. With an MA in Children's Literature, I was also a free-lance journalist. I have tutored individual students and taught classes of 20-30 students from my original lesson plans.
My first children's book, MY HEBREW DINOSAURUS was published IN 1994 with Kar Ben of Maryland. It was released in the states, Canada, Great Britain, as well as Israel. Jack&Jill Magazine, sold nation-wide, has published three of my fictions, two of which were cover features. Recently, Floricantopress has expressed interest in my most recent fiction effort.

I usually ask for a writing sample from each student, and then evaluate each individual student. I ask each student about his interests and aspirations and we collaborate on a lesson plan. Free writing, an exercise, where the student can write via a stream of consciousness and without fear of criticism often inspires young writers to explore composition and creative writing.
