About Jackie

I am a primary school teacher, with the added experience of teaching GCSE Photography.
I have a professional photography qualification and experience of operating my own photography business.
I am offering online photography lessons for small groups or on a 1 to 1 basis, teaching photography and light basics, including film photography up to Level 3. Photoshop lessons will also be available if required as well as basic videography. Lesson content can include professional business advice if required.
Willing to travel up to 12 miles for practical lessons or using webcam (Zoom/Teams).

About the lesson

I base my teaching on practical lessons, so you will be required to have access to a dslr/slr or bridge camera with manual controls. I will demonstrate required skills and will expect to see evidence of learning by completion of tasks set as well as completed written exercises if required.

Throughout the lessons, Mark has also shown good awareness of composition techniques, using framing, perspective, and depth effectively to enhance the visual impact of his images. In addition, he has explored post-processing skills to refine and polish his photographs, showing an eye for detail and creativity in editing.

Details

Book either 5 or 10 lessons in advance for discounts. Individual lessons £18 per hour online or in person, paid prior to start of lesson.
£10 extra per lesson, payable in advance for travelling to locations of student's choice within 12 miles of ST19.
