About Maria

Singer, pianist, and conductor, I pursued my music studies in Saint Petersburg, my hometown, where I earned a Choral Conducting Diploma from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Music Institute and a Bachelor´s Degree in Conducting with honors from the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts.

I studied singing with Tamara Bogdanova (Saint Petersburg) and Héctor Guerrero (Madrid), and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor´s Degree in Singing at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid under the guidance of Elena Muñoz Valdelomar.

I have studied piano with Sven Birch, Abel Sánchez-Aguilera, Elena de Santos Cámara, Elena Esteban Muñoz, Andrés Manchado, Alisa Parfenova, and Marina Polozova, among others, and obtained a Bachelor´s Degree in Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid. Additionally, I have attended piano masterclasses with Ya-Fei Chuang and Robert Levin at the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg.

I have performed in numerous concerts as a singer, pianist, accompanist, choir conductor, and choir artist on various stages across several European countries (Spain, France, Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia).

I have been teaching for 19 years, and I love sharing my knowledge and experience.

About the lesson

Hello!

My name is María, and I have been teaching piano, singing, vocal repertoire, and harmony since 2006. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Conducting in St. Petersburg (Russia) and my Bachelor's Piano Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor's Singing Degree at the Higher School of Singing in Madrid. I have taken part in masterclasses in Salzburg and Linz. I perform as pianist, soprano, and as member of various chamber music ensembles.

I offer piano, singing, and repertoire lessons. I speak Spanish, English, and Russian, and I teach in any of these languages.

In my singing lessons, an essential component is working with the body, incorporating some yoga exercises and breathing gymnastics to develop the abdominal muscles and diaphragm.
