About Tiara

I am currently an elementary school teacher for LAUSD. I have worked one-on-one with students during intervention and tutoring assignments. I have been working in the educational field for 4 years. I am also in the process of receiving my Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I wish to continue to grow in the educational field; I plan to become a principal within the next 10 years.

About the lesson

My lessons are teacher model based and reflect the needs of students with whom I work. My lesson plans include a warm-up or introductory discussion that connects to the prior knowledge of students and highlights the focus standard or objective that students need to master. Teacher model: I Do, You Do, We Do. Lessons will include thinking and wait time, academic discussion (question and answer), standard-based activities, and debrief/exit tickets.

1st lesson is FREE! All lessons afterward are $65/hour. All sessions will be through Zoom; however, if you would like me to travel to you, there is an additional transportation fee of $35. All payments must be made prior to booking a tutoring session with me.
