About Princess
I began learning American Sign Language (ASL) in 2011 to fulfill a foreign language requirement for my bachelor's degree. I fell in love with the language as well as the culture. I decided to further my studies by enrolling in a Sign Language Interpreter Program, where I was also a supplemental instructor to Deaf instructors. I taught ASL to students in grades 4-8. I often subbed in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) classrooms.
I was a Special Education teacher for two years. I am now a Deaf & Hard of Hearing Itinerant teacher for preschool - 12th grade students. I am a graduate of The University of Arizona's Master of Arts in Special Education with an emphasis on teaching the Deaf & Hard of Hearing program.
