About Sarah
Hello there! I'm Sarah and come with 15 years experience in the field of education. I've trained as a teacher and also trained teachers through educational NGOs in Malaysia.
Besides my Post Graduate Diploma of Education, which allowed me to serve in Public Schools early on in my career, I also have a BSc. in Environmental Studies (Aquatic Resources) which has given me the skill and knowledge to be data driven in my teaching approaches.
Having worked among high need learners while working the Education NGOs, I have also learned a variety of approaches and coaching skill that can support my lesson to empower learners in their journey.
Adding on to being a facililator and trainer, I have also had the opportunity to speak at a few Education conferences and was one of the invited speaker in a local TedX event.
In terms of additional qualification, I am a Certified Coach with ICF and was formerly an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner with 6Seconds.
Most importantly above all, I believe when there is purpose behind the intention of learning, the process of learning becomes engaging and meaningful.

All lessons will be learner-led with the emphasis on increasing the learner's confidence in using English Language in practical settings
What does learner-led mean?
- It means that lessons will take into consideration, learner's interest, and current needs.
- Lessons can range from learning to enunciate better, or to prepare for their presentation. The English Practice Partner is also open to those who are interested to prepare for interviews likely conducted in English.
As the lessons offered has a wide reach of use, this is suitable for learners of any age (Yes! Even adults!) that could use a practice partner with qualified teaching and coaching background.

Details
The free lesson (30mins) would be used to establish rapport and see if there is "chemistry" and the learner is comfortable with me as a tutor.
For packs offered, the hours can be used back to back (depending on availability). Booking of time will be given priority to students with package offer.
