About Ola
I am an enthusiastic Math and Science tutor who truly enjoys helping students succeed. I have a strong background in tutoring, and I am almost qualified as a secondary school teacher of Science (mainly Physics) and Mathematics. I have a real love for making tricky topics feel simple and manageable. I know how important it is to feel supported, so I always aim to create a positive, patient environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and really grow. I specialize in helping secondary school students (11–18) prepare for exams like GCSEs, A-Levels, and IB, and I tailor every lesson to suit each student’s goals and learning style. I'm committed to making lessons clear, structured, and engaging, and I take pride in seeing my students gain confidence and achieve their best.

I am a passionate and friendly tutor who’s here to help you feel confident and successful in Maths and Science (I specialize in Physics). I believe that everyone can achieve great things with the right support — it’s just about finding the way that works best for you.
I have been working as a tutor for around 3 years, I am currently undertaking my teacher training at University College London (UCL) to become a qualified Secondary Teacher of Physics and Mathematics, and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I have worked with students tutoring both Mathematics and the Sciences. I have helped all my students move up by multiple grades, by working with each student individually to create a tailored plan leading up to their exams.
In my lessons, I create a relaxed, positive environment where you're free to ask questions, make mistakes, and really get to grips with the topics you’re studying. I take the time to break down tricky ideas into simple, manageable steps, using real-world examples to make learning meaningful and easier to remember. My approach is flexible — if something isn’t clicking, I’ll quickly find another way to explain it until it makes sense to you.
I mix clear teaching with lots of practice and encouragement, helping you develop not just knowledge but real confidence and problem-solving skills. You’ll leave each lesson feeling more capable, motivated, and ready to tackle challenges on your own.
I mainly work with secondary school students (ages 11–18) studying Maths and Science, and I also support students who need a little extra help preparing for their GCSEs, A-Levels, IB, or other important coursework.
