About Eugene
I am a certified math teacher and taught math for 12 years and tutored for over 15 years. Out of the 12 years taught, 4 of them were at an alternative school. I taught students who didn't like schol or who had severe gaps in their educaion where in a month or two these students that hated math, started to enjoy math and see their relevance in life. I earned tutor of the year award from my college. The math I taught ranges from algebra 1,2,geometry, precalculus, quantitative literacy, and test taking strategies to prepare students for standarized tests. I also have a B.S. in chemistry with a minor in math and physics. I even have a master's in business administration.

This will help me accomodate you and know where to start in order for me to help you succeed. I start off with any lesson with something basic but tie it in with what you are working on. I'm all about bring up your confidence and being able to tackle this difficult subject and make it relatable and fun!
