About Matthieu

I hold a Bachelor and a Master in Physics (110 Cum Laude in both -- First grade equivalent). I earned them in Italy and France, respectively. Also, I hold a PhD in Engineering at New York University (Grade A -- First grade equivalent). Currently, I apply my Maths knowledge and Physics-shaped critical thinking to my current company job. I work full time as a data scientist. I have been in UK since 2020, I joined before Brexit and during COVID-19.

About the lesson

I teach students in Mathematics and Physics since I was in the last year of high school (more than 10 years ago!). I have experience in teaching both online and in person. I was a tutor for students of different ages, from 12 years old to more than 50 years old! I can teach one to one, or in groups of five or more people. My teaching approach accommodates students' needs. Being flexible is key. From the first moment we meet, I would ask you what are your preferences and I will try my best to accommodate them. Having a long-standing experience as a tutor, I have encountered many different types of students and situations. I would be more than happy to hear your situation and help you out.

I had the luck to have Matthieu as a teacher to my study group. We were five students and started with Math and Physics. Matthieu was a lovely and patient teacher. Since I had such a great experience with him, I started one-to-one lessons in Python and everything is going perfectly!
