About David

If you had asked me a few years ago if I planned to learn German, I probably would have said no. However, life took an unexpected turn, and I ended up moving to Germany with practically no knowledge of the language. I had to start from scratch and learn German to get by in my daily life: grocery shopping, running errands, studying, working, and interacting with other people. I lived there for three years, discovering that learning a language is much more than memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules: it's a tool for communicating and becoming part of a new culture. After returning to Spain, I decided to continue perfecting my German until I reached C1 level. Precisely because I was also a beginner, I understand the difficulties that non-native speakers often encounter, and I enjoy helping other students navigate that same path in a clear, practical way, tailored to their goals.

About the lesson

My goal is for you to learn to understand and use German with confidence, not just to memorize grammar rules. Every student learns for different reasons, so I tailor my lessons to your objectives: academic or university support; preparation for traveling or living in Germany; conversation and listening comprehension; grammar and writing; preparation for certification exams; maintaining or improving your level. I like to explain not only what is said, but also why it is said that way. Understanding the logic of the language makes learning much more solid and natural.
