About Makayla
I am a 5th year math teacher at a middle school in Nevada. In my free time, I love skiing, dancing, and traveling. When I was in college, I studied abroad in Madrid and traveled all over Europe! My favorite place in the world is Lake Tahoe, though. I look forward to meeting you!

When students learn math, most of the time they don't understand the purpose of the computation. I will not only show you how to complete math problems, I will show you why you must do each step.
I am easily adaptable, so whatever you need help with, I can do! I specialize in K-8, but I can help with any level.
I will also have a set curriculum for students who would like to get ahead in math. I use the Illustrative Math curriculum, which is engaging, yet rigorous
