About Heather
I have tutored and taught for 4 years online as well as having 8 additional years in the classroom. I want students to feel safe and at ease in our sessions, mistakes are part of the learning! As long as we try hard, there is no stopping our learning.

I love to engage my students in lessons by getting to know their personalities, learning styles, and who they are as a person.
A typical lesson will involve getting to know how they are feeling that day and a small amount of chatting! We then go into the why of the lesson with an attention grabber or relevant question. I use the I Do, We Do, You Do approach of gradually releasing students to working independently and gaining confidence.
