About Elizabeth
I have taught secondary school and sixth form students for 20 years now, with many of my students being inspired to study the subject at degree level. I have also tutored students who have left at 16 and got jobs but wanted to privately take A levels, coming back to seek me out personally for support. Throughout the years I have taught a number of subjects, History, Sociology, Psychology, Geography, Citizenship, and Religious studies and have trained with many of the exam boards. I have also been an EPQ (extended project qualification) tutor so I am adapt in teaching students how to be independent learners in preparation for university.

Given the wide age and ability range I teach my teaching methodology is varied, and I very much aim to tailor the method to suit the individuals requirements and learning style. This might range from teaching students how to answer exam questions or how to approach essays, to Kagean or thinking skills more kinesthetic and collaborative learning.
