About Lena
I am teacher with a minor in creative writing and working towards my masters in English. I have been teaching for 12 years. For the first ten years, I taught pre-K; now, I am a substitute teacher for a variety of private schools and teach pre-K to 12th grade.

My teaching method will vary base on each student since we all learn differently. For elementary age, I enjoy using props for reading and writing to engage the mind and for my visual learners. Repetition is the key. For my audio learners, I like to do a lot of choral reading which is reading together. For writing, experience is the key. I will give different opportunities to write short essays and stories about what interests you, as the student.
