About Ellena
I am a patient tutor who does emphasis the importance of friendly relations with the student to create a warm atmosphere to nurture curiosity and cooperation. Asking questions and acknowledging mistakes can be hard - trust me, that was me when I was younger - but to really improve yourself, being willing to ask questions and work on how to fix mistakes is vital, self-improvement is vital. I hope to inspire my students to actively engage in the lessons, see the fun side of math, and learn to enjoy the subject as I have grown to do.

As an older sister and an English tutor, I have had tons of experience tutoring and working with young children with whom I have fostered emotional connections and friendly bonds with. Our lessons will be structured according to the student's needs and long-term goals. During our lessons, we will focus on strengthening areas that the student may struggle more with, prioritising truly understanding the concept and the skills needed for the problem while practising foundational skills, practical for secondary school.
