About Rian
I am very professional and knowledgeable about how to maintain your instrument and care for it. I can help build confidence so that you can get that first chair or the trumpet solo you’ve been dying to get. I was a shy student myself but once I truly learned my craft I was unstoppable and so can you be! Playing the trumpet has helped me in many avenues in life even from outside of playing music and I hope that I can teach you the same!

I can teach to read music from learning the notes, rhythms and sight reading. I can teach from marching band to jazz music as well and help strengthen improvisation. I can teach for memorization of the 12 basic scales!
I can teach from basic beginners in learning how to read music and to more advanced high school music. For marching band music in high school, I was A1 (which lead the band) and also a first trumpet in a competitive band matched to recreate The Ohio State University.
