About Landon
It is my experience that one's fellow peers are often the best source to turn to. They can be more effective than teachers and professors. In high school, many people turned to me. In college, people asked me questions, but as course level increased I had to ask questions as well. I've been on both sides, and I know what makes learning effective. I will teach my students the tips and tricks I used to get As in my courses. I will use my public speaking skills from teaching about marine life to chop the concepts into manageable levels.

My teaching method will focus on using analogies and simple words to break down complex processes into small steps. A typical lesson will start by reviewing what has been learned by the student in the most recent class. This will be followed by helping them work through practice problems and then preparing them for their next lesson.
My lessons are for high schoolers who need help with any level of biology or chemistry available, as well as biology for college students.
I have a personal interest in genetics and would also love to inspire others towards biological careers.
