Bilingual in Spanish and English, good intermediate piano skills that are useful for teaching and composition. I have been a tutor for many subjects, academics for K-12 and a long-term substitute teacher in the NYC DOE for 3 years

Most people are intimidated by the idea of music theory, and music theory is not necessary for people to appreciate or make music. BUT, when you understand how music theory works, you can shape the music you make to intentionally create moods, atmospheres, affect your listeners and get unstuck in your creative process.
