About Jacob
My background in various subjects allows me to approach different angles of problem solving. An avid reader who has published multiple papers in the field of philosophy and published short stories to various magazines. I have helped organize many community events that allow me to work with different age ranges of students, including forming a library at my university that allowed both university and primary school students to find books they would enjoy reading.

Lessons will begin by focusing on the specific areas the student is struggling with in their primary education. English skills will be developed through guided reading sessions, during which I will work closely with the student to ensure they understand not only the context of the text but also its deeper meaning in a way that inspires them.
Writing is often a source of difficulty and stress for students. My approach goes beyond simply telling students how to write; it involves building their confidence and helping them develop their own writing style. This style should help the student feel comfortable and expressive during their writing assignments. Grammar lessons will not rely solely on slides or memorization, but will include the analysis of real examples of authors they enjoy, showing how grammar functions in context and how it can be effectively applied to the student’s own writing.
