About Holly
I have done gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer for 10 years. From age 7-14 I took gymnastics lessons, and from ages 7-17 I took tumbling/cheer lessons. I was on my high school cheer team for 3 years, and did competitive cheer for 1 year. Over the last 2 years I had cheered, I also helped my coach teach non competitive cheer/tumbling classes. I have coached students from ages 3 and up in beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills. I developed a passion to help students over the years to get the skills they need to succeed in teams and in general.

About the lesson

Starting out the lesson we would do a warmup which would include a short run. From previous experience this is the best way to get your body moving and ready to start practicing. After the warm up we would spend roughly 15 minutes stretching all parts of the body. Stretching is one of the most vital roles in tumbling and gymnastics. Then we would spend the majority of the time working on skills and perfecting them. Before the end of the lesson, we would do a brief cool down with conditioning ending with stretching.
