About Jonathan
Having a BM Popular Music degree from USC often feels less important than the sound of a well-sung blues verse. Most people think great singers are born that way but I see vocal technique as a craft built through steady work.
My 13 years of performing in clubs and churches gave me a front-row seat to the power of a raw, honest voice. I help you master vibrato control and balance your head and chest voice effectively. Managing stage fear becomes easier once you trust your breathing control and diction. I love helping working professionals find time to hone their belting technique.
It is a joy to watch a student finally find their pitch control during a tough song. Keep your spirit high and your voice ready to sing.

Ever wondered why your throat feels tight after hitting those high notes? Together we examine the mechanics of your vocal cords using principles from my USC studies. We apply homework vocal drills after every session to build your stamina. Stage fear management is part of the work too.
It is vital to find your range. Breathing control remains the foundation for everything else.
