About Charna
Helping you find your natural resonance is why I dedicate my time to coaching. You deserve to understand the mechanics of your own voice, whether you sing for a living or just for your own joy. I spent 6 years touring the American South, which shaped my ear for harmony singing and proper breath control. Having worked with 244 students, I understand that singing is deeply personal.
My BA in Ethnomusicology from UCLA anchors my approach in solid technique and vocal health. Stick with me and you will find your own way to carry a tune with confidence.

Many singers fight against their own throat tension until they lose their voice. I have to admit that I struggled with the same issue before learning how to balance head and chest voice effectively. We will work on microphone technique and pitch control to ensure your sound cuts through the noise.
Absolute beginners and pros alike need to prioritize breathing as the engine for every phrase. You will see results. Clear, steady progress remains our target for every single session.
