About Tyler
I have been teaching and tutoring middle school and high school math for over 10 years, starting as a math tutor in college. I struggled with math myself in high school, and that gives me the ability to relate to struggling students. I have also built my skills over the years to help push excelling students in math as well.

I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to build understanding and confidence. I also regularly review previously learned skills to help students retain what they've learned and continue progressing.
