About Jenny

Hello, I'm Yanmei, a Chinese teacher with 3 years of experience and 9 years of bilingual teaching background.
This experience allows me to fully understand the learners’ common difficulties and different learning goals and the most effective ways to improve your Chinese.
Teaching Chinese isn't just a job for me — it's a real joy. Every time a student's Chinese improves, even just a little, it genuinely makes my day.

About the lesson

I design highly visual, customized lessons for every student.

My classroom is a patient, encouraging environment where you will get maximum speaking time. After each class, I provide clear lesson notes and tailored feedback so you always know exactly how to progress. My curriculum is highly adaptable. Depending on your current level and objectives, your learning path can include:

Zero-Beginner: I understand the unique phonetic challenges European language speakers face. We will break down Pinyin, tones, and foundational structures step-by-step to build your speaking confidence from day one.

HSK Preparation (Levels 1-6): A systematic, results-driven approach to vocabulary, reading comprehension, and grammar to help you confidently pass your target exam.

Cultural Immersion: Language and culture are inseparable. Alongside our linguistic studies, we will explore engaging cultural topics—such as Chinese tea culture, the twelve Chinese Zodiac signs, and the artistry of Peking Opera—to give you a richer understanding of authentic China.
