About Heidi
I have taught students of all ages in Communications, Psychology, Career and Life Planning, Conflict Resolution, and proper English.
I have lived and taught in international schools throughout the world: Russia, the Middle East, and Central Asia. I know how hard it can be to speak and learn another language. I also know how confusing learning a complex system can be.
After working with K-12 students, and now college students, I know how to help students that are confused, and feeling overwhelmed about a subject, to helping them feel confident and even enjoy the subject they previously avoided.
Finding out your best learning styles will help me to help you learn more easily and with less effort. Providing accurate assessment and accountability will help you master difficult concepts.

A typical lesson plan with me contains:
1. An introduction of the lesson and why it is useful/needed
2. A presentation of important points of knowledge or working system of content
3. An activity to engage with the content being learned; practice using the information or skills being learned
4. A review of past or present lesson to cement and master main points or skills (assess what is mastered and what needs more practice).
What sets me apart: I try to make each lesson informative, engaging, practical, and fun! I am approachable, flexible, and can assess within a few sessions the holes in knowledge or skills that need to be addressed.
The lessons are for students wanting to learn Business English, Professional manners, Communication skills, Conflict resolution skills, or Psychology and Counseling concepts.
