I was preparing for medical entrance test in 1992. I had such a great phobia of physics that I once contemplated dropping my dream career in medicine. I was well prepared in all other subjects but studying physics was my nightmare. One and half months before the medical entrance someone recommended me to VS Shukla sir and asked me to give a final try in physics before giving up. Believe you me I went to him for around 25 days. He used to engage me in bike repair, transformers, show me the recently purchased computer( computers were very new at that time) during the tution time. Then he used to teach some topic related to that day's activity and boom I started grasping physics in full throttle. I managed to score good enough marks and cleared my entrance. Important thing was I did not carry the fear of physics into the examination center. Instead I saw physics questions as solveable puzzles thrown at me. Today I am a practising superspecialised dentist of 20 plus years of repute in Jaipur ,Rajasthan, India. I owe my degree and successful career to Shukla sir alone.
