About Ophelia
With a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and more than seven years of teaching experience, I support students preparing for IB and A-Level Math. My sessions are built around the principle of conceptual clarity, ensuring that learners understand the “why” behind each process. I teach multiple strategies for problem-solving so students can develop confidence and versatility. Past paper practice plays a vital role in my lessons, giving students valuable exam preparation. My expertise is in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, where I provide structured guidance and detailed explanations. I believe math is a subject that becomes much easier with a strong foundation. My teaching is patient, engaging, and tailored to individual learning styles. I encourage independent thinking while providing clear support at every step. Over the years, I have seen students make significant progress and achieve excellent results. Each lesson is focused on building both skill and self-confidence. The way I teach math is application-focused and simple. My lessons cover coding logic, discrete mathematics, and algorithmic thinking in ways that connect directly to computer science.
