About Harry

I am a German, have traveled much, spent 4 years in Canada studying (BA in Experiential Education), happily married, 2 wonderful children and all together we made our lifelong dream come true in 2020 and now live in Croatia. :-)

My wife is Croatian and we have been living here since 2020. So I know what it's like when you don't understand anything or can't say what you're want to! I know how it feels when you can't find a job because you don't speak the language!

But I also know how to learn a language - because in addition to English, after one year in Croatia I am now at B1.
I would be glad to help you learn German - including vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, understanding, speaking, reading and writing. Depending on what you want to achieve, that's what we'll focus on!

About the lesson

Who are you?
How well do you already speak German?
Do you live in Germany (Austria, Switzerland) or do you want to learn German in your home country?

As we get to know each other, we will define what YOUR goals are and find out how YOUR learn best.
Then we will look for the best methods for YOU!

Lessons are usually 1.5 hours online via zoom (or alternatives). We'll take 5 minutes for catching up and dive into lesson material and exercises.

I fell that I have succeed in teaching when you can use German in everyday life! If you feel confident speaking, understand others and can express yourself in writing, you are ready for life in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
