About Ashley
Technique defines the soul of the electric guitar. I provide custom backing tracks so you can practice your soloing and improvisation skills comfortably at home. My 13 years of experience inform every chord transition and power chord lesson I deliver.
Having taught 81 students, I have refined a method that combines theory with practical application like blues progressions and songwriting. My Licenciatura en Música from UNAM and BM from Berklee mean that your training is rooted in genuine expertise. Let me know if you would like to start with a quick session this week.

Our time together is a direct, hands-on exploration of your favorite styles. We move from tuning and maintenance to complex barre chords with plenty of time for questions.
I cater to kids and teens by keeping the material relevant and engaging. I love watching students move from simple tabs to improvising over the backing tracks I prepare for them. It is satisfying to hear a student finally hit that perfect blues note after weeks of steady practice. Playing should always feel like an achievement.
