About Kameryn

I am a guitarist, pianist, singer, and songwriter, and I have been performing around the DFW area in Texas for over six years now. I have received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry Studies from UT Arlington, and I surround myself with music daily. I have taken guitar lessons for 7+ years, and am taking lessons on the college level now. I have taken four semesters of Music Theory, and my teachers have told me that one of my strong points is my ability to explain complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand, fun way. Everyone comes to music with a different background of understanding - I want them to come away feeling like they understand their instrument a little bit better.

About the lesson

I want my students to have fun with what they're doing. I'll be teaching my students the basics of the strings and fretboard, how to read guitar tabs, chord charts, and sheet music, and once they've got those down I'll find songs they enjoy so they can apply their knowledge in a fun, enjoyable way. If you already know the basics, sign up for a trial lesson so we can see what I have to teach you! I've learned popular music and songs from video game OSTs on guitar over the years, so I'm open to teaching any kind of music! My lessons are for anyone from middle school to high school!
