About Faris - Oxford University Undergraduate
Studied Maths at GCSEs and A-Levels. I found Maths particularly difficult for a neurodivergent student as myself and was focused too much on looking embarrassing in front of the class during the lesson. These lessons will help remove this experience and get back to basics if necessary!

Faris is a commited and diligent tutor- full of insights, and tips on study & test taking skills! He is a great tutor for GCSE subjects and can also teach A level economics, philosophy and history. My daughter found him kind, considerate and patient.
First I should mention that I am Faris' father so I know a tremendous amount about him but I am also biased. I am also an Honorary Prof in CS at University College, London, and a Maths PhD from NYU.
Faris is highly committed and extremely studious. He is also very good at explaining concepts to others, both as a mentor, and as a public speaker.
Faris did very well in his schoolwork at St Paul's, before going on to read History at Oxford, and is poised to convey his deep knowledge to others. He has done public speaking in areas of political economy, politics, history, political philosophy, geography, mentoring younger students in many of these areas and in study skills in general. While excelling in essay topics, (geography, history, english lit, economics, philosophy), Faris was an excellent student in STEM and Greek and Latin.
In general I think he prove to be a very solid choice and would prove very committed to students' learning outcomes.
