About Kevin
I have played both instruments since I was 5, and I have lots of performance experience and competition. Therefore, I know what works better for students, instead of doing lots of repetitive exercises. I also have my own recital, which sometimes I give them some student recitals as well.

I have many years of teaching experience around New York, including Manhattan, Long Island, Flushing, New Jersey. I love to make a creative environment for students, focusing more on making their music instead of being mechanical. I will also include some of theory in my lesson to help students to learn the music, which makes them learn more effectively. I work with my students on ABRSM, NYSSMA, if they would like to take it. But I prefer them to do more performance and competition.
