About Liza
Teaching Spanish and English has been the most inspiring and exciting part of my life.
It has allowed me to travel to Latin America and live in Mexico.
Very early in my teaching career I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I use a tried and true teaching method that I learned while working at the Berlitz School of Languages and which I helped streamline. It is simple and inspired by the organic way all children all over the world learn language; through constant exposure and patient guidance.

My classes have you speaking the target language from the first lesson through clear short sentences with practical examples.
We start with a grouping of everyday objects. Through repetition for retention and improving accent the student learns not only to say these objects in full sentences but they also learn how to ask questions and summarize the lesson by the end of their first lesson.
This method is used to teach everything from verbs to songs without ever having to do boring memorization. It all happens naturally, like when you learned to speak in your own language, as a child.
To me learning languages is fun, so I make teaching them fun.
I teach elementary to high school students. I also teach adult professionals.
