About Patricia

Bilingual: Spanish-English School in Mexico City from Elementary till College. Pick up French as well at the Alianza Francesa du Mexique. Opportunity to study in Europe the profession of Hotel Management and Tourism. Austria and Switzerland, being there I learned some German and Italian as well. Stayed there for 3 years. I always been fascinated with languages. When I came to Toronto over 20 years ago, I started working in the Hotel field, as I did it in Mexico City. From there, I decide to go into the Tourist and Travel Field, where I was hired by Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a very well known Company that had offices all over the world. So here we go again, working direct with customers for 15 years, enjoyed it so much, had the opportunity of traveling many places in the world, and from there started the idea of being a Spanish Tutor, thanks to my clients, who they asked me if I could Tutor their kids, that were having Spanish as a second language in school, but needed the extra help to get ahead in class. They advanced so much with my lessons, and started referring me to more students. Tutor them beginner and intermediate levels. Some of my Snow birds senior clients, heard that I was tutoring, and they also decided they wanted to learn basic Spanish to tag along when they were staying in Mexico long stay or other Hispanic Countries.

About the lesson

Spanish native speaker, born in Mexico City, been in Canada for over 20 years with more than 5 years experience part time in tutoring Spanish, mostly to High School Students and Seniors that love to travel in Winter for long time to Mexico or other Hispanic countries. Back home in Mexico City, used to tutor English part time to Elementary School students. Consider myself a people's person, love tutoring, I believe I do have the patience and the skills that you need to be a Tutor, I am not a teacher, but I love teaching and being in contact with people. I will be very happy if the students choose me, my lessons are done individually twice a week for an hour and half each time, I am also open to any schedule that will suitable for the students. My fees are $30.00 CAD per private lesson or an hour and half for $35.00 CAD.

Perfect! Patricia is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. It's a pleasure to learn from her. In particular, I enjoy the organic conversations we have in Spanish about all sorts of interesting current topics and other life experiences. I highly recommend her as a teacher!

The trial lesson was for his wife Kearston. She is francophone, but she is not totally B1, I believe she is A2, but needs a lot of practice with the grammar, vocabulary and conversation. Starting lessons with her, this coming WEdnesday.

Is her daughter Anna, High School Student, 17 years of age. She enjoyed a lot the lesson with me, she is able to speak and understand Spanish, but needs to be polish with grammar, vocabulary, conversation and writing as well. She starts lessons with me presencial at my place this coming Tuesday 3rd Oct at 0430 PM.
