About Bobbi
My lessons have been built upon decades of experience beginning with cassette 4-track recordings, and I did studio session work through the years during the shift between analog and digital mediums.
I began focusing on music theory around 2010, and enrolled in music school to build a bridge between my intuitive understanding and the fundamentals of composition.
In 2015 I turned to computer science in order to develop my own educational music software.

About the lesson

I teach music production through hands-on exploration of classic sound chips, using my own custom software which can be tailored to specific individual needs.
A bottom-up approach is used to cultivate a thorough conceptual understanding of sound waves and how they are generated and manipulated to produce the instruments we hear.
A solid grounding in music theory, particularly the principles of harmony and voice leading is emphasized, with the idea that good composition is the most important component of music production.
