About Alesja

Hello, I'm Alesja, currently based in Canada but originally from Albania. I have completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and IT and have 3 years of experience in the tech industry through work experience, and diverse projects. Certified in both Java Fundamentals and Java Advanced, I've actively contributed to projects in Java, ASP.NET Web API, and Python.
I'm here to help students in programming by simplifying concepts and providing practical examples, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. Everyone has the potential for greatness, and my goal is to help others discover and unleash theirs. Let's embark on this learning journey together!

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on clarity and practical application. For each concept, I present real-world problems, offering students insights into how Java is applied in professional settings.

Topics covered are: input scanner, conditional statements, loops, methods, string, dates, arrays, OOP, exceptions, SQL, GitHub, debugging, many exercise workshop sessions etc.

Level: Beginner

Each lesson is scheduled for 2 hours. Classes are held twice a week, and specific days will be tailored to accommodate your availability.

What to Expect:
-Practical exercises in every lesson.
-Real-life problem-solving scenarios.
-You will have the opportunity to develop a console-based application using Java, integrating SQL for data management. I will guide you through the entire process, from coding the application to deploying it on GitHub. This exercise is not only a chance to apply your Java fundamentals but also a valuable addition to your portfolio.
-Lesson Documents: Receive comprehensive documentation for each session, providing detailed explanations of the concepts covered during the class.
