As Benjamin Franklin once quoted - " Tell me, I forget. Teach me, I remember. Involve me, I learn."
Mathematics is not about theorems and proofs. It is more about understanding the problem,brainstorming with my students on methods to solve the problem and finding the shortest path to the solution. My method would be to train students to come up with their own logic rather than mugging up theorem and textbook solutions.
