About Derek
Transitioning from a decade in quantitative research and machine learning engineering has shaped how I view software engineering. You need to understand that writing code is as much about architecture as it is about syntax. With 3 years of teaching experience, I split my time between industry work and helping students navigate technical careers. My MIT PhD background provides the rigor behind these sessions.
