About Masego

Hi, I’m Masego, a TEFL-certified English tutor from South Africa. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and have practical experience working as a teaching assistant at a primary school, where I supported learners with reading, writing, communication and classroom activities.

Working with learners taught me to be patient, adaptable and encouraging. I genuinely enjoy helping people learn and seeing their confidence grow, especially when something they once found difficult starts to make sense.

I’m friendly and easy to talk to, and I want my students to feel comfortable being themselves during our lessons. Whether you’re just starting your English journey or simply want someone to practice with, I’ll support you along the way.

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and focused on helping you feel confident using English. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to your level, goals and learning pace. We can work on everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing and grammar depending on what you need most.

I like to keep lessons interactive by using real-life examples, questions, short activities, repetition and plenty of speaking practice. For younger learners, I can also use pictures, games and simple activities to make learning more enjoyable.

Most importantly, you don't need to be afraid of making mistakes in my lessons. I’m patient and encouraging, and I’ll help you improve step by step while giving you plenty of opportunities to practise English yourself.
