About Aly

My goal is always to help my students reach their fullest potential by meeting them where they are and specializing my programs to match that. Individuals all learn at different paces and in different ways. It is important to me that I create a learning environment that will allow for the most success possible.

I have been a practicing attorney for over 6 years, have experience teaching English abroad, and as a caretaker.

About the lesson

Lessons are created for the individual student’s needs and level of understanding. My areas of expertise are: English as a second language, business/legal English, and writing.

First session is a free 15 minute consultation to determine the needs of the student and whether it will be a good fit.

I am TEFL certified, a barred attorney in New York State, and have a JD and a Masters in International Law.

Details

On average my rate is $25/hour. This will include curriculum and assignments that will be reviewed by me. For more simple needs, that price can be lowered. For Business or Legal English, the rate may be higher. I typically will not charge for travel, unless it is a further or more difficult trip.
