About Ilhaam
Before I decided to complete my TEFL qualification I studied to be a chef. During my time working as a chef I saw the communication gap between my colleagues and I as they were non native speakers and it peaked my interest. As a chef I also got to mentor and coach junior chef while working which created my passion and love for teaching.
This is what lead me to become a TEFL teacher because I saw the need for it. I enjoyed helping and watching as pupils grow and flourish.

My lessons are very interactive, I keep a study flow ensuring my students can keep up with me.
I mainly teacher students who are young in age (3-1 2), so I am very animated in my communication. With students this young the level they typically at are level A2
what makes my lessons unique is tend to center my lessons around my learners based on there interests, strengths and weaknesses to give them the best out come. Structuring my lessons this way keeps my students engaged and focused in lesson, as they do not find it too challenging or boring.
My teaching methodology is typically TTT as I feel it works best. This allows students to see immediately their strengths and mistakes and allows them to correct it immediately as they build their language foundation.
I am proficient in English as I am a native speaker. I however can assist and teach in a blended position with espanol
