About Sheena

I've been working with children, young people and adults for almost ten years, including working with some fantastic online students located in China. Working with students of all ages has been so rewarding. I have enjoyed fun and silly games with younger children but also more intellectual conversations with older students.
I've travelled as a nanny/au pair and a teacher, working with children around the world, in Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Ireland, Czech Republic and Denmark. Working with children, especially in educational roles, has given me the chance to meet so many interesting families and young people. I’ve lived and worked with families who speak English, French, Russian, Kyrgyz and Czech and helped both children and parents to practice their English.

About the lesson

I am TEFL qualified and have a degree in English literature and history. I also have experience teaching children and young people online and in person.

Having a strong knowledge of the English language is becoming vital for children and adults today. I believe that both children and adults can learn English in an enjoyable and productive way. My classes encourage students to talk to each other and to me - the more they talk, the more they learn and the more confident they become. Classes can also include working on reading and writing in English, depending on what the student requires.

Details

Classes start at €15 an hour and increase depending on length and types of class, for example, if the student requires large amounts of work to be corrected in between classes or more than the normal amount of prep work to be done by the teacher.
Discount available for booking 5+ hours of classes.
Cancellation policy: Class can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without a fee once a month. Class must be rescheduled within 7 days.
