About KN Abi
I am an Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for helping children achieve greater independence and confidence in their everyday lives. My clinical experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental delay, learning disabilities, and pediatric hemiparesis across hospital and clinical settings. I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my approach focuses on understanding their individual needs through comprehensive assessment, evidence-based intervention, and meaningful goal setting. I strive to create engaging, child-friendly therapy sessions that promote improvements in sensory processing, fine motor skills, handwriting, attention, self-care, play, school participation, and overall functional independence. I also have a special interest in Tele-Occupational Therapy, where I support children and families through structured online therapy sessions, parent coaching, home program planning, and regular progress monitoring. My goal is to ensure that therapy continues effectively beyond the clinic by empowering caregivers with practical strategies they can confidently use in daily routines. During my clinical training, I gained exposure to multiple specialties including pediatrics, neurorehabilitation, psychiatry, orthopedics, rheumatology, oncology, community-based rehabilitation, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics & gynecology. This diverse experience has strengthened my clinical reasoning, activity analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ability to provide holistic, client-centered care. I continuously enhance my professional knowledge through certifications and workshops in cognitive assessment, hand splinting, kinesio taping, brachial plexus injury management, and research. I am committed to using current evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services. If you are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is patient, empathetic, professional, and committed to helping children reach their fullest potential, I would be honored to be a part of your child's developmental journey
