About Heather
I spent ten years teaching maths to students of all abilities in London. Some of my students were pushing for that grade C or 5 at GCSE and others to get the A* in Further Maths for their Oxbridge place. I have seen it all! I am living abroad and really miss teaching and talking about maths. I hope to find some students I can share my expertise with and keep my brain sharp for when I return to London.

From my extensive classroom teaching experience I have seen the value of a clear explanation and understanding. With the current curriculum it is even more important to deeply understand the maths to be able to apply your knowledge to a wide variety of problems. My teaching style involves link to prior knowledge, new concept, examples, then most importantly: practice!
