I modify my explanations to the individual student so that they will easily understand what I'm conveying. I stress the importance of (in the case of math) of building upon each step of each course. I'm always stressing the importance of each level of a curriculum to the higher levels in the curriculum.

Details
The $40 hourly rate includes my furnishing reference books/materials, paper for scratch paper purposes, and a calculator for use in the tutoring session. All of the scratch paper is for the student to keep at the end of the session.
