About Caroline
I have been tutoring students with diagnosed and suspected learning disabilities to read and spell using an Orton-Gillinghman approach for the last two years. I have also tutored students online and in person for over six years. I have also worked as a counsellor in a school setting, so I understand the emotional challenges that some students face.
I have a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on developmental psychology, which gives me a solid background in how children learn and develop. I also have a TESOL teaching certificate, which enables me to teach English as a second language to students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
My goal is to provide individualized and supportive tutoring that meets the needs and goals of each student. I believe that every student can learn and succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.
