Normally, I develop my own lesson procedures and share them with students before the class started. This way my students can have a big picture of what is the goal of learning today. Then I will tailor the lesson plan for students based on my previous teaching, students performance and my observation to make sure scaffolding is happening in the classroom. IT also can guarantee students is reviewing what they have learned and achieve what they need to learn.
I have been teaching for almost 3 years. I have taught in China for one year and a half. Now I am teaching in Columbus, Ohio for two companies. I teach both one-on-one and group lesson. Most of my students are young immigrant teenagers from Japan, Mexico, Korea, and Arabic speaking countries, rest of them are adults from India, Brazil, and Venezuela. Most of my beginner students now can fluently express ideas through 3 months learning, they are very hard-working also. My intermediate level students are gaining more insight in English complex grammatical knowledge now along with my lesson going, for example, conditional clauses, adjective clauses.
