About Marites
Hello! I am a dedicated and passionate Science tutor with 12 years of experience as an elementary teacher. I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing confidence in Science.
My teaching approach is learner-centered, interactive, and practical. I simplify complex Science concepts and connect lessons to real-life situations, hands-on activities, visual materials, and meaningful discussions. I believe that every learner can understand Science when lessons are presented in a way that matches their needs, interests, and learning pace.
As a teacher, I understand that learners have different strengths and challenges. I patiently guide students through difficult concepts, provide constructive feedback, and adjust my teaching strategies when needed. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in learning Science.

As a Science tutor, I use learner-centered, inquiry-based, and activity-based teaching approaches. I believe that Science is best learned when learners are given opportunities to observe, ask questions, investigate, experiment, and connect concepts to real-life situations.What sets me apart is my experience as an elementary teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. I understand that learners have different abilities, learning styles, interests, and levels of understanding. Because of this, I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach.
I make Science lessons simple, engaging, practical, and meaningful. I break difficult concepts into smaller and easier parts and use examples that learners can relate to. I also believe in creating a supportive learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because mistakes are part of the learning process.
