About Taylor
I graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio in 2017 with honors and a bachelors degree. I am certified to teacher early childhood through 6th grade. I student taught kindergarten and 2nd grade. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years, 5th grade for a year, and 6th grade for 3 years.

Teaching children is truly my passion! I have in taught both elementary and middle school with a specialization in math. I struggled in math when I was a kid and that gave me the drive to become a teacher to help others. Math is not my only forte! I love to write and enjoy proofreading and editing papers.
Making sure that students have fun and can truly understand the content being taught is the number one goal. I believe in productive struggle and students taking ownership of their learning. Productive struggle allows students to apply critical things skills and create pathways that make sense to them. Student ownership of learning is self rewarding. It is so important that a student is proud of themselves and has the confidence to know that despite the difficulties they face, they can conquer any task!
